PETALING JAYA: The move by the National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) to list the names of defaulters in the Central Credit Reference Information System (CCRIS) by Jan 1 next year has resulted in an increase in repayments.
PTPTN chairman Datuk Shamsul Anuar Nasarah said repayments from Nov 4 to Nov 27 increased by 69% or RM23mil compared to the same period in October.
