TAWAU: A total of nine houses at a water village in Kurnia Jaya, Batu 4, here, were razed in a fire Tuesday morning, however, no casualties were reported.
Quick action by fire and rescue team in controlling the blaze helped prevent the fire from spreading to about 471 other homes in the village.
