KOTA KINABALU: A humble family background was no deterrent for Universiti Malaysia Sabah (UMS) sports science graduate Christopher Pok Yong Hao (pic) to emerge as the university’s 2014 Student of the Year.
The 23-year-old Malaccan received a first class honours degree at the 16th UMS convocation recently for his academic achievement.
