KUALA LUMPUR: The 2014 Umno General Assembly began this morning at the Putra World Trade Centre where president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak is scheduled to deliver his presidential policy speech.
Themed 'United Malay,' the annual assembly will touch on various issues, including the proposed abolition of the Sedition Act 1948, vernacular schools, religion and the Muslims, economic and social development and national solidarity.
