IPOH: The number of flood victims in Teluk Intan has risen to 359 as at 8am Thursday from 336 Wednesday with one temporary flood evacuation centre opened at Masjid Jamek Air Hitam.
Perak Hilir district Civil Defence Department officer Mohd Fazly Mohamad Zawawi said 23 victims from 10 families were placed at the evacuation centre while another 336 were staying at Sekolah Kebangsaan Changkat Jong.
