IPOH: A total of 220 illegal immigrants have been arrested in road blocks and in the forest area around Cameron Highlands, Pahang in two separate operations since Nov 1.
Cameron Highlands district police chief DSP Wan Mohd Zahari Wan Busu said those detained comprised Bangladeshi nationals (61), India (18), Myanmar (39), Indonesia (45), Nepal (50), Pakistan (three), Cambodia (two) and Sri Lanka (two).
