UPSR: Fewer top scorers compared to 2013

PUTRAJAYA: There were fewer top scorers in the Ujian Pencapaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) this year, with 7.89% of pupils scoring all A's compared to 9.15% last year.

Education director general Datuk Dr Khair Mohamad Yusof  (pic) said overall pupil performance also suffered a dip, as the Average National Grade (GPN) decreased from 2.27 in 2013 to 2.29 this year.
