PETALING JAYA: Another road rage allegation has surfaced again on social media with Klang resident Kai Qing alleging that her 71-year-old father was attacked by a man in his 40s at the Centro Klang parking exit.
In her post on the PaSangLang.com Klang Facebook group about the incident that took place at around 11pm on Nov 8, Kai Qing said that her father's Perodua Kelisa was nudged from behind twice by a green Toyota Avanza as he tried to place his parking ticket in the ticket machine at the Centro Klang parking exit.
"My father walked down to talk after parking his car to one side. Yet, the driver, in his 30s refused to budge. Suddenly, the passenger came out, shouted and punched my father twice in the face. A few passersby saw and came to stop the assault," said Kai Qing in her post on Monday.
She added that her father fell to the ground after being hit, upon which the Avanza sped off.
"My father suffered a big black eye and a few stitches, and was traumatised by the event. As a daughter, I am angry and terrified, as my father in his 70s," she said.
Kai Qing called on Klang residents to forward and share her post "to find the assaulter and bring him to justice."
"I want a public apology from this man, and also pay for my father's medical bill. If he is a man of his own actions, then he should own up to his faults and stop terrorising people on the road," she added.
In photos added along with her post by Kai Qing, her father incurred a medical bill of RM 157.80 for treatment after the incident.
She also posted a copy of the police report that was lodged over the incident.
