Marine cops cripple illicit cigarette smuggling attempt in Johor

JOHOR BARU: The Marine Police has crippled an attempt to smuggle cartons of illicit cigarettes with a market value of RM228,094.27 with tax near the shores of Senggarang in Batu Pahat.

The force's Southern Region II commander Asst Comm Paul Khiu Khon Chiang said that the bust was made at around 1.30am on Tuesday.
