KUALA LUMPUR: Police released photographs of 21 individuals who can assist in a trespassing case at Universiti Malaya (UM) last month.

It was reported that UM had lodged a police report over tresspass of property following a ceramah by Opposition leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim on Oct 27.

A few hundred people had forced their way through the locked gates of the university to attend the talk which was banned by the university.

Brickfields OCPD Asst Comm Muhammad Azlee Abdullah urged the 21 individuals to assist in the  investigations into the incident.

“I want to clarify that we will not arrest them, we just want to record their statements. Their help is crucial in finalising the investigation.

“Please inform them if you happen to know who they are,” he said adding that police would resort to arrest warrants if the 21 failed to report to the police.
