PETALING JAYA: Transparency International Malaysia (TI-M) welcomed Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem’s resolve to weed out corruption in the state’s timber industry.
TI-M president Datuk Akhbar Satar lauded Adenan’s assurance on ending the issuance of new timber licences as timely given the level of deforestation in Sarawak.
