FORMER tourism minister Datuk Seri Azalina Othman Said called on the National Film Development Corporation (Finas) to cut down on funds for horror flicks and mythical themed movies and give more to productions of films depicting the nation’s history.
Taking the example of the British Film Institute, she said it funded the Oscar-winning movie The King’s Speech, which portrayed the life of King George VI.
