SHAH ALAM: Sabah Criminal Investigation Department deputy chief (Intelligence/Operation) ACP Carleel Mohd Effendi withdrew his RM2mil suit against a businessman alleged to have made defamatory allegations against him in a letter eight years ago.
Carleel, 57, made the decision after lawyer M. Manoharan, representing the businessman, Tan Kim Kee, read the statement of apology from the defendant at the High Court here.
