IPOH: All businesses, including small medium enterprises (SMEs), are encouraged to take up the 200% capital allowance on automation expenditure as announced in Budget 2015 to reduce their dependency on foreign labour.
Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong said the businesses could claim up to twice the amount they spent to automate their operations.
