BUKIT KAYU HITAM: A Thai national’s attempt to smuggle out 250kg of ketum leaves with a street value of about RM7,500 to Thailand was foiled when he was arrested at the Duty Free Complex near here. 

Kubang Pasu District Police Chief Supt Abd Rahim Abdullah said the 26-year-old man was driving a Mitsubishi Triton pickup truck when he was intercepted by a team from the General Operation Force based in Bukit Kayu Hitam at about 9.45am, Friday.
