PUTRAJAYA: The Court of Appeal here will only decide late next month if there is an issue with the Inspector-General of Police over the arrest of a Muslim father and to compel the man to return his daughter to his Hindu ex-wife.
Representing the IGP, Senior Federal Counsel Noor Hisham Ismail from the Attorney-General’s Chambers, said it would not be possible to comply with the civil court’s order to return Prasana Diksa to M. Indira Gandhi (pic) as the police chief was stuck between two conflicting jurisdictions.
