PUTRAJAYA: The Attorney-General’s Chambers has been taken to task over its defence of Datuk Ibrahim Ali’s “burn the Malay–language Bible” remarks.
MCA Youth secretary-general Datuk Leong Kim Soon stated that while the A-G said it had evaluated the context in considering the Perkasa chief’s case, this was not the case when it came to Universiti Malaya law lecturer Prof Dr Azmi Shahrom, who is facing sedition charges over his remarks on the Perak and Selangor political crises.
