Bigger defence team for Anwar

PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim has enlarged his defence team for his appeal in the Federal Court today against his conviction and five-year jail term for allegedly sodomising his former aide in 2008.

His co-counsel Latheefa Koya said the 14-man team would be led by Datuk Sulaiman Abdullah, taking over from Karpal Singh who died in a road accident on April 17. The previous team comprised six lawyers.
