SEPANG: Three persons were produced in a Sessions Court on Thursday to face a charge of attempting to provide support to the Islamic State (IS), with intent to become members of the terrorist group.
Architect Mohd Syafrein Rasid, 26; trader Mohd Rosmadi Che Daud, 42; and technician Mohamad Yusoffe Ishak, 26, were charged with allegedly taking a Qatar Airways flight from Kuala Lumpur International Airport to Istanbul, Turkey, with intention to support and become members of the terrorist group.
