Khairy gets nod to appeal court’s decision disallowing him to amend defence statement

PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court gave the nod to Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin Monday, to appeal against a high court decision, which had disallowed him to amend his statement of defence on Opposition Leader Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's defamation suit.

A five-member panel chaired by Court of Appeal president Tan Sri Md Raus Sharif said the court needed to hear further arguments on the matter.
