Review of VEP pact with Thailand

THE Vehicle Entry Permit (VEP) agreement between Malaysia and Thailand will be reviewed following reports of abuse by Thailand private vehicle owners, says Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Aziz Kaprawi.

He told Datuk Shamsul Anuar Nasarah (BN-Lenggong) that he had just chaired a meeting with stakeholders in Bukit Kayu Hitam on the International Circulation Permit (ICP), which allows privately-owned vehicles from Thailand to enter Malaysia.
