Shafee maintained as prosecutor in Anwar Sodomy 2 case


PUTRAJAYA: The Federal Court here has dismissed Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim's third bid to disqualify lawyer Tan Sri Muhammad Shafee Abdullah (pic) from acting for the prosecution.

The panel lead by Justice Arifin Zakaria dismissed the attempt to nullify the Attorney General-Chambers (ACG) to appoint Shafee, finding no reason to interfere.
