Lower-income group to have more cash in hand


THE lower-income group will have more cash in hand with the increase in Bantuan Rakyat 1Malaysia (BR1M) payouts ranging from RM50 to RM300.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said the Government decided to increase BR1M payouts after taking into consideration the projected increase in revenue collection from Goods and Services Tax (GST) and the financial capability of the Government.
