‘Improved Child Care Leave a big step for women’

MOTHER-of-four Dr Putri Afzan Maria Zulkifli hails the move to improve Child Care Leave for mothers in the civil service as a step towards helping women create better bonds with their children.

“Not only can mothers build a better relationship with their babies, they will also be able to breastfeed newborns for a longer period,” said Dr Putri Afzan Maria, 35, co-principal of a child enrichment centre in Petaling Jaya.
