A police spokesman, when met by reporters at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL)National Forensic Medical Institute's compound, said Tiong's remains would be cremated in the federal capital before being brought back to Sibu by his family.
He said a post mortem conducted on Tiong, 36, revealed he sustained serious injuries on his head and abdomen.
