Jobless man and brother fined for assaulting bride and lover


KUALA LUMPUR: An unemployed man, whose wife eloped with another man 10 days after they got married, was so enraged that he sought them out and beat them up.

Pleading guilty to causing serious injuries, Nurhaqiqi Nur Salam, 23, said he was so furious after finding out about his wife’s affair that he brought his younger brother Abdur Rahman, 21, along and barged into a house in Wangsa Maju, punched and beat up his wife Nur Amira Roslan, 23, and Mohamad Hasbullah Mohamad Kamal, 25.
