PETALING JAYA: Industry players have welcomed the recent arrest of several Customs officers and directors by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, calling it a move to promote better business transparency.
The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers president Datuk Saw Choo Boon said the arrest was a good move as smuggling activities reduced revenue for the Government and affected investors.
