KUALA LUMPUR: Eight senior Customs officers were produced in two Sessions Courts on Monday to face 25 charges of accepting between RM200 and RM7000 bribes over the smuggling of liquor to avoid duties.
They were charged under Section 16(a)(A) of the Malaysian Anti Corruption Commission Act 2009 and Section 165 of the Penal Code.
