Bomoh charged with performing unnatural sex on woman

SEREMBAN: A bomoh was charged with committing unnatural sex on a 26-year-old woman, while his wife, for abetting him in all the charges.

In the Sessions Court, Mohd Rashid Mohd Din, 58, pleaded not guilty and claimed trial to having sexual connection with the woman by inserting his fingers into her vagina.

The offence allegedly took place at a house in Gedung Lalang, Ampangan here, between 2.30pm and 7pm last Sept 20.

The charge is punishable with a jail term of for up to 20 years and whipping.

Judge Datuk Jagjit Singh Bant Singh allowed Mohd Rashid bail of RM15,000 in one surety.

Mohd Rashid's wife, Noralia Daie, 51, was charged with abetting him and allowed bail of RM8,000 in one surety.

In the Magistrate's Court, Mohd Rashid was charged with assaulting the woman with intent to outrage her modesty at the same place, date and time.

Noralia was charged with abetting him in the act.

Mohd Rashid was also charged in another Magistrate's Court with committing gross indecency on the woman at the same place, date and time.

The cases have been fixed for mention on Oct 27. - Bernama
