KUCHING: The number of companies registering for the Goods and Services Tax (GST) is picking up as its deadline draws nearer.
Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chua Tee Yong said a week ago, the registration rate was between 1,000 and 1,500 companies daily but since the start of the week, it had increased to between 2,000 and 2,500.
