Pengkalan Kubor by-election: 54% voter turnout as of noon


TUMPAT: Voter turnout for the Pengkalan Kubor by-election so far has been very encouraging, according to Election Commission (EC) chairman Tan Sri Abdul Aziz Mohd Yusof (pic).

He said that in just four hours after polls opened at 8am, voter turnout was at 54% or 12,945 votes as of noon, said Abdul Aziz at a press conference at MRSM Tumpat after the EC visited several polling stations around Pengkalan Kubor on Thursday.
