Pengkalan Kubor by-election: PAS chided over use of monks' picture with party leaders


TUMPAT: Siamese Buddhist monks here a neutral group and should not be used as tools by certain political parties out to achieve certain goals.

Inong, who represents the Siamese community, chided PAS for using a picture of party spiritual adviser Datuk Nik Aziz Nik Mat and Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Ahmad Yakob with the monks, and distributing it to the Siamese community here as tactical ploy to show that the monks supported PAS.
