Kampung folk meet prominent politicians in person

TUMPAT: Young entrepreneur Ainzatul Salini Halim and her kampung folk are used to seeing prominent politicians on TV, but the Pengkalan Kubor by-election has given them the exciting opportunity to meet some of these personalities up-close.

Ainzatul, 21, was thrilled when Wanita Umno chief Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil dropped by at her restaurant in Kedai Geting, where a programme on women entrepreneurship was held.
