Johor seeks RM1mil to kick start health fund

JOHOR BARU: Johor hopes to be allocated RM1mil in the state budget to kick-start a health fund to help patients from the low-income group obtain adequate healthcare.

While the mechanism for the planned Johor People’s Health Fund is yet to be finalised, state Health and Environment committee chairman Datuk Ayub Rahmat hoped the allocation could be included in Budget 2015.
