KUCHING: Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said he would “personally” prefer the teaching of Science and Mathematics to be in English.
“I support the use of English in the teaching of Science and Mathematics because of the dominance and overwhelming presence of the English language in the world’s scientific community,” said Adenan in a speech read out by state Assistant Minister for the Promotion of Technical Education Datuk Len Talif Salleh yesterday.
