PETALING JAYA: The Selangor executive councillor meeting on Monday decided to close the state economic advisor's office at Plaza Perangsang with immediate effect to save costs.

Mentri Besar Incorporated (MBI) chief executive Faekah Husin said the state felt that economic matters could be handled by the Selangor State Investment Centre which has expertise in administration, procedures and promotion.
