SOME 63 Indian families living in Kampung Tepi Sungai in Parit Buntar, Perak, would have to vacate their houses after Deepavali so that the flood mitigation project can proceed, reported Malaysia Nanban.
The Kerian district office and state Land Department have written to the families requesting they move out by November.
