PUTRAJAYA: Hindraf founder P. Uthayakumar is expected to be released from prison by next month after the Court of Appeal here reduced his sentence for sedition by six months.
Justice Aziah Ali allowed Uthayakumar’s application to lighten the punishment, ruling that it was appropriate to have the sentence “varied” from 30 months to 24.
