SHAH ALAM: A political activist was brought to the Sessions Court here and another court in Selayang to face charges of posting seditious words on Facebook that allegedly belittled the royal institutions of Selangor and Johor.

Ali Abd Jalil, 29, pleaded not guilty to two counts of posting seditious words on his Facebook page last month that insulted the Sultan of Selangor and another sedition charge resulting from one of his postings on Facebook in January that touched on the Johor royalty.
