KUALA LUMPUR: A group of Universiti Malaya students has announced its decision to boycott classes in a bid to attend a peaceful assembly on Wednesday, as a support for its law lecturer Azmi Sharom (pic), who was recently charged with sedition.
The group, known as Universiti Malaya Students Associations (PMUM), urged all students to attend march and peaceful assembly instead of their classes, as a form of protest for the charges against Azmi and academic freedom.
