SHAH ALAM: All three Pakatan Rakyat parties have given names of mentri besar candidates to the Selangor palace, says Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim.
"I believe the next process will follow with the palace giving feedback on the suggestions (of names) given," Selangor Mentri Besar Khalid told a press conference on Wednesday.
He added the administration of the state government would continue under the executive council until a new mentri besar was appointed.
"I urge all parties to be patient and allow the process to be carried out in accordance to the state constitution and its traditions," said Khalid.
The Selangor Mentri Besar crisis took root after PKR sacked Khalid from the party for refusing to resign and make way for party president Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail to take over.
Both PKR and DAP have gone against Selangor Ruler Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah's decree to submit more than two names by insisting that Dr Wan Azizah was their only choice.
However, PAS is believed to have sent in two names.
