Anifah to lobby for UN seat in Samoa meet


KUALA LUMPUR: Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman would use his presence at the Third Inter­national Conference on Small Island Deve­loping States (SIDS) in Samoa to lobby support for Malaysia’s candidature to a non-permanent seat in the United Nations Security Council for the 2015-2016 term.

Anifah would be accompanied by Foreign Ministry officials during the visit from today until Thursday, a statement said yesterday.
