PETALING JAYA: To celebrate the “Spirit of 57”, Kita Kawan Mah (KKM), a social movement that promotes unity, wants to capture the story of how multi-racial communities came to call Malaysia home.
Its co-founder Alvin Teoh said they are collaborating with photographers and students on Dulu Pendatang, Kini Penduduk – a photography project that traces the roots of Malaysians of different ethnic backgrounds and how they all came to call Malaysia home.
