The suspect's blue Proton Wira following a high-speed chase by police
ALOR SETAR: Police seized a sub-machine gun, a few hundred bullets and eight packets of syabu from a suspected drug pusher following a high-speed chase in Kuala Muda on Friday.
The suspect, in a blue Proton Wira, was stopped by a police mobile patrol (MPV) unit near Jalan Hospital. It is understood that police personnel gave chase and fired shots at the suspect’s car when the man attempted to escape. He was eventually arrested outside the Kuala Muda District Headquarters at around 8pm.
