Unapproved water machines

PETALING JAYA: Many water vending machine operators are still unaware that they need a licence from the Health Ministry to provide the service.

“When I bought the machine two years ago, I was told by the supplier that I would only need to get verification from the Metrology Corporation Malaysia Sdn Bhd every year,” said businessman Akram Azly, 30, who operates a water vending machine outside his office.
