More foreign workers detained for Kulaijaya factory building fire


KULAIJAYA: The number of foreign workers picked up by the police in relation to the rioting incident at an electronics manufacturing factory in the Kelapa Sawit industrial area here have rose to 49.

State police chief Senior Deputy Comm Datuk Mohd Mokhtar Mohd Shariff said that the 47 Nepalese and two Bangladeshi men were picked up for rioting and the police would continue to identify and arrest those involved in Tuesday's incident.
