KUANTAN: Pahang police have chided local authorities and Government agencies for their lack of commitment in acting against gaming machine operations used for illegal gambling.
State CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mohd Zakaria Ahmad said police submitted 237 applications to disconnect electricity supply to gaming outlets since January this year, but local authorities only acted on 21 of them.
