A POLICE inspector, who was arrested on Aug 15 while trying to smuggle stolen cars out of the country, was a member of an international syndicate headed by a notorious Malaysian car thief.
Metro Ahad quoted Selangor police chief Datuk Abdul Samah Mat as saying that the officer, who is in his 40s, was believed to have taken vehicles stolen from the Klang Valley to Bukit Kayu Hitam, Kedah.
