Japan attracts more Malaysians with over 116,000 visiting between January and June


KUALA LUMPUR: More locals are choosing Japan for international holidays, with Malaysian tourist arrivals to the Land of The Rising Son hitting a record high for the first half of the year.

Japan National Tourism Organisation (JNTO) executive director Hideki Manabe said 116,200 Malaysians visited Japan between January and June this year, an increase of 62.5% over the same period last year.
