PETALING JAYA: Fans at the MTV World Stage 2014 concert in Sunway Lagoon here had a rapturous time when singer-songwriter Yuna (pic) sang for them.
Yuna, who is signed to David Foster’s label Verve Records, performed hit singles like Terukir di Bintang, Lelaki and Mountains yesterday.
Earlier at a press conference, Yuna said performing for the home crowd was always special.
“Over here, I always feel like I’m performing for my family,” said the Los Angeles-based singer.
MTV World Stage also featured performances by American hip hop artist B.o.B, Thai group Thaitanium and K-pop outfit Boys Republic. Introduced in 2009, MTV World Stage is a global series watched by viewers in 550 million households.
